This map, produced by the National Oceanographers Association, shows the areas of land mass under the sea as well as above.
The area in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean has been named the "Atlantis Trench" after the lost continent of Atlantis. The highest area rises out from the ocean floor to form the Azore islands.
A fault line running north to south is clearly visible and proves that this area is unstable and prone to earthquakes.
